2-Piece Floating Rear Brake Rotor Upgrade for Audi C8 RS6 & RS7

034-301-2026

Product Description:

The 034Motorsport 370mmx30mm 2-Piece Floating Rear Brake Rotor Upgrade for Audi C8 RS6 & RS7 is a complete replacement brake rotor, designed to work flawlessly with the factory rear calipers. Upgrading your rear rotors will increase overall braking performance in street, track, and HDPE driving conditions, as they keep your brakes cool and strong all day long!

Weighing in at approximately 22.7lbs, each rotor reduces rotational weight by 2lbs on each corner over the factory 24.7lb rotors! While reducing weight, the rotor retains proper thermal mass in the rings to adequately capture heat, while utilizing 72 directionally curved vanes to forcefully flow cool air through the rotor to dissipate heat.

The central hat portion of the 034Motorsport rotor is made of 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is constructed out of a proprietary metal alloy that can withstand immense braking temperatures while holding form. From the factory, the same straight-vaned rotor is used on both rear axles of the C8 RS6 & RS7. 034Motorsport rotors utilize 72 directionally curved vanes to forcefully flow cool air through the rotor to dissipate heat and are unique to the left and right axles to provide a substantial increase in cooling efficiency over the factory rotor design.

The face of the rotor utilizes J-Slot slots to clean the pad and surface of contaminants and allows hot pad outgassing, all while reducing overall braking noise compared to a traditional slotted rotor.

The rotor and hat have a floating mount system that utilizes high-strength alloy steel bobbins. The pins take the load from braking actions while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc, allowing for safe expansion and contraction from heat.

Temperature-Indicating Paint Marks:

2-Piece Rotors

034Motorsport 2-Piece Performance Brake Rotors feature temperature-indicating paint marks on the rotor edge that provide a quick visual reference for heat exposure during aggressive street driving, autocross, or track use.

The paint changes color at specific temperature thresholds to help drivers understand operating conditions:

  • Green → White at 478°C (892°F)
  • Orange → Yellow at 571°C (1060°F)
  • Red → White at 640°C (1184°F)

If the red paint turns white throughout, the rotors are consistently operating beyond their intended temperature range. This may indicate the need for lower-friction brake pads or improved cooling
